En gaf zelf schepping aan een nieuwe, verdorven soort:

De verbitterde, duistere ziel

Die niets dan haat en onrust zaait

Gedreven door wrok en woede

De allermooiste bloemen maait

Vanaf de zelf toegeëigende troon, kijk je op de wereld neer

Vol minachting getuigend en vergenoegd door alle levenszeer

Voor een eeuwigheid dwalend, alle onschuld volledig vergaan

Alle hoop verloren op een vergeven, integer bestaan

De schone creaties van de schepper, blinken allen in volle pracht

Doch de weerspiegeling van jouw duisternis, maakt jou tot wat men lelijk acht

Kon ik vanuit de verte horen

Vrezende de mineur

Bedekte ik mijn oren

Het was hetzelfde liedje

Dat ik nimmer meer wilde horen

Doch ondanks mijn verweer

Dansen de klanken bij me binnen

Hoor ik tegen alle angsten in

Een nieuwe symfonie beginnen
